Brashlyan

Village of Brashlyan (Ivy) is located on the territory of Strandzha Nature Park in the municipality of Malko Tarnovo, 14 km from the municipal center. Here are preserved ancient Bulgarian traditions and atmosphere, as the village attracts the curiosity of Bulgarian and foreign tourists more and more. It is favored with beautiful nature, located in a picturesque valley, and surrounded by endless meadows. The area of the village of Brashlyan offers many interesting itineraries for tourists, and a number of historical and cultural monuments. Among them is a 150-year-old building, preserved both externally and in terms of the internal distribution of its premises. There is also a cell school preserved as a part of the church "St. Dimitar ". A Thracian sanctuary was placed there back in ancient times before it was erected in XVII century. It is believed that it was dedicated to the god of wine and fertility Dionysus. Do not miss to visit the Balyuvata house, an architectural and historical monument. The house was built in the XIX century. No less interesting are the Agricultural Museum of traditional agriculture and the Ethnographic House Museum.

There are three chapels in the village of Brashlyan, namely "St. Marina", "St. Petka ", "St. Panteleimon".

On the Day of St. Panteleimon, 9th Avgust, the village of Brashlyan celebrates its feast.
