In the casino opened an exhibition of photographs by Athos
The exhibition "Mount in drawings and photographs" will open today at 18:30 (09/04/2012) hours in Cultural Center Sea Casino by Deputy Mayor for Culture in the Municipality Yordanka Ananieva.
The exhibition presents 10 paintings and 10 photographs of the two artists - Burgas Andrey Yanev and professor of semiotics at the National Miroslav Dachev. The exhibition is conceived as traveling and will be featured in various European cities. Burgas citizens have the privilege to see it first in "Kodzhakafaliata" to the casino on Sept. 14. Admission is free.
Below are the genre-life situations the monks on Mount Athos. The photos and drawings are created by numerous trips to Prof. Andrey Yanev Dachev and from 2004 to 2012.
The event is organized by the Center for Cultural and Semiotic Studies in cooperation with the Municipality. It is part of the "Holy Land and Bulgarian culture" that continues longstanding "Holy Mountain and Bulgarian culture." According to exhibition organizers launched a new phase in the study and presentation of cultural heritage.
