Golden Sands

Golden Sands is the oldest of the three major Bulgarian sea resort, located in the northern part of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. It is located in the municipality of Varna, Primorsky region, 13 km northeast from the outskirts of the town and 17 km from the city center.

Golden Sands is the most popular resort on the north coast. It is situated at the foot of the Natural Park "Golden Sands", a protected area. The beach, covered with fine golden sand, is 3,5 km long and up to 100 m wide.

The territory around the resort is unique with its flora and coastal vegetation. It is defined as a natural park. It keeps threatened and endangered plant and animal species, and there are five tourist routes that pass through old fountains, recreation sites, places with a charming view of the sea. The cultural and historical heritage of the park covers a wide period - from antiquity to the late Middle Ages.

Golden Sands is a favorable venue for events of all kinds such as workshops, seminars, trainings, roundtables, etc. The amenities and the well located hotels near Varna are a prerequisite for frequent events in the complex. In recent years, a number of organizations, associations, unions, central and local governments conduct their activities in the hotels of this beautiful resort on the beach.
