Byala

Byala is located in the region of Varna and near the Black Sea coast. The town is the administrative center of the municipality of Byala. The nearest town at a distance of 5 km is Obzor. Varna is 56 km north of Byala, and Burgas is 70 km to the south. The history of Byala goes back at least to the 4th century BC. At that time the village bore the name Aspros. Byala became a town in 1984.

The beach of Byala is one of the cleanest ones on the Black Sea due to its remoteness from large administrative centers. The combination of sea and mountain climate makes Byala a great place to relax. Near Byala is the "White River" area. This is one of the wildest places in the Black Sea region.
