Aheloy

It is located on the banks of the large Burgas Bay. The terrain is mostly flat, as the northwest part of the town  is slightly hilly. Around the town runs the eponymous river Aheloy and the flows into the Black Sea. The main occupation of the local population is construction and marine tourism. The climate is driven by the flat terrain and nearby Balkan Mountain and the Black Sea. The area has very mild winters and cool summers, making it a pleasant and desirable place to live and relax.

Aheloy has a marina suitable for sheltering both fishing boats and sailing and motor yachts. The beach starings from the camping of Aheloy and continuing to the town of Pomorie (approximately 10 linear kilometers and having a width of 10 to 20 linear meters) is suitable for sunbathing.
